hey! its 2005! man its fast. a year ago i was dreading enlistment. but wow. its been almost a year since i enlisted into the army! heh. anyways, happy 2005 and have a blessed year ahead dear friends...

new year's eve was spent at home for me. haha. i nv really liked those countdowns anyway. and there wasnt any countdown shown on tv so i got really really bored that i got sleepy? well actually i did sleep. slept for 45 mins or so till about 11.30pm. haha. the reason i stayed up is to catch the debut of taufik's mtv. which was so banal can. wtf. seriously. the mtv was nothing but a collage of clips from his singapore idol journey? heard it'd be nicely and professionally done up all lei. oh well. so yeah. that was how i spent my new year's eve. it was like a normal friday-going-on-to-saturday thingy. nothing really significant.

went for high tea buffet at royal plaza on the scotts with my mom. oh man. the food there was so good i went for 5 rounds! and the chocolate dessert was heavenly. the baked seafood pasta. the dimsum. the beef steak. the turkey pie. omg. everything was just so nice. and its only sgd32++. quite cheap ya. anyway, after those 5 rounds went around to walk2 with my mom. and my mom was telling me she saw this nice pair of sunglasses the other day. so we walked into this optical shop lah. while she went to do her stuff i was happily trying on the oakley glasses on display. try and try. ended up buying one 10 mins later! seriously had no intention of getting one?! wtf. i managed to save 200 bucks this mth? and when i asked my mom she said okay?! wtffffff. only paid a deposit of sgd150. more than half to go. sigh. i'm telling u. unintended shopping is so bad it hurts.

accompanied marc to get his army stuff from beach road today. the boy's enlisting soon. aww. haha. bought his stuffs and we later bummed around at bugis. off to jp next. and went to my mom's for my dinner. been long since i last ate her cooking man. heh. so that's basically how i spent my weekend. oh yes. my new year resolution? be more thrifty!

and in 2 weeks time i'll be a one year soldier! woo hooo. ord loh! =)
