hey... havent updated for 2 weeks... for 2 weeks i was confined in tt hell of an island... had live range for the first 3 days of the first week... tt was good man... ultimate slacking cuz lotsa waiting... and time just passes by so fast? yeah... i just passed my shooting test? ha... freak it lah... night shooting sucks... nvm about tt... had SOC on last thursday or smth... SOC sucks. period. its freaking tiring... somebody pls get me outta army... field camp started last saturday till yesterday... imagine carrying a total of maybe 20kg load on ur back and route marching for about 4km? SUCKS! i can just die... i can just fall back man... basket... so irritating... but anyway... we wore our army tee and slacks on the first day? izzit normal or izzit just scorpion? ha i dunno... salabin was the first campsight... man it sucks... totally... the ground was sloping... uneven... how to sleep sia... and the sleeping site we chose was under some tree... so it got kinda scary too yeah? ha... nothing happened of cuz... oh... we had this camouflaging and concealing thingy... so fun! ha! u pick all sorta leaves and grasses and put it on ur helmet and SBO... so fun? some pple can really conceal well... bushmen they are... ha... 2nd campsight was pematang... pematang was good! the area's so windy cuz its near the sea... its a rubber plantation area lah? so the trees are kinda dispersed hence more ventilation and all? nice... 2 nights there... we had fresh dinner during our first night there... and guess where we went to have it? by the seaside! ha... super super nice! super morale booster? then we took photos there... ha... yes... 7 days package tour around tekong. but it was the best man... oh i misfired once and i kena guard duty... my shift was from 2am to 4am lah... by right we're supposed to prowl along the campsight area? but me and my buddy just went to the back there and we slept after half a round! ha... nice! heh... the route march from the rubber plantation to the 3rd campsight (oil palm plantation) was farking long! i cud just die lah! anyway the campsight was ok lah... i thot there'd be lotsa mosquitoes and all but no? didnt kena lei... only got some ant bites when proning on the ground... basket... the afternoon before we left oil palm we got to bathe for the second time? ha... so our sergeants took us to the seaside and we took photos again... then they brought us to this fake town sorta thing? so we toured tt place... ala tourists lah k... duh... we had like 5 mins to bathe? it was kinda err... gross lah... bathing with other guys... with our undies on of cuz! but at least we got to bathe... for once everyone smelled nice... haha... yup... the last campsight was on reclaimed land... wasnt too bad... we pitched our bashas in an open area? windy windy area cuz its near the sea... oh the whole day there was dedicated to fire trench and shellscrape digging? we're supposed to dig an individual shellscrape within 45mins but most of us took like the whole afternoon lah? ha... its freaking tiring for heaven's sake! gosh... and we didnt really dig the fire trench which is like super deep in case u girls dunno... i dunno why? welfare coy maybe? ha... had some section battle course thingy... super tiring i tell u... then we had the battle inoculation course... another tiring thing... leopard crawl and backcrawl for 70m? i've got abrasions on my knees and elbows can... basket... then it was back to company line! which signifies the end of field camp? and nv was i so happy to reach bmtc? ha... cleaned our dirty rifles for a good 2 hours... freaking long... i cudnt wait to get back to my bunk and just well... be happy? ha... booked out last night at 7.15pm... shared a cab with 3 others... $5 each? cheap cheap... ha... wanted to go supper but got lazy upon reaching home? so i didnt go lah in the end... so agreed to meet up with my classmates for breakfast at 9am today... but i woke up at 9.30? ha... so sorry man... had mac bfast... after eons man! talked about my ns life to them... ha... with bruises and all lah k... then went to the bank with choo... and met diana there! she wasnt too stunned to see me botak lei? ha... replaced my lost bankbook and atm card... then met my mom and we proceeded to imm to get my pretty baby! yes! i bought the sony dsc-t1! so pretty! -beams- but my mom was nagging lah... duhs... cuz she asked the salesman whether there are any other good digicams around anot... so he intro-ed to us this local brand... my god... so uglyyyyy... stubborn me still chose the t1 lah huh... and my mom was so worried i wudnt pay her? like wad... "i'm gonna go bankrupt if ur gonna go on like this"... obviously i'll pay her wad since i'm earning money? [tho its so meagre] paid $400 upfront... still got another $600 to clear? who cares... its so pretty! went home... played with it a while... napped for 2 hours... then met mel for dinner... had pattaya fried rice and ice cream prata! yummy! gave her a treat lah... first pay? haha... met up for an hour... not too bad lah huh... went our separate ways later... went to westmall for a while cuz i didnt wanna go home? wanted to find a cover for my t1 but they didnt have it... oh! met yuzhong and chris at the busstop... talked to yz about army life... ha... and chris was saying we look the same... duh? we're both botak wad! ha... went home... went to lot1 to get my oakleys fixed... it was like so loose? and so shagged? feel like getting another pair of oakleys? maybe frameless this time round? intellectual looking me here i come? ha... i dunno... we'll see how... i dun wanna deplete my savings by spending more than what i earn? yup... and there's this song...
