hey. i'm back! haha. so sorry. been kinda lazy. anyway let me try not to elongate this update unnecessarily yeah? heh. i have nothing much to blog about my army life cuz its so routined and mundane. i basically do the same thing over and over again? but now that i'm a lao jiao (well a little. after the 3 new RPs came), they let us become the gate ics. gate ics are in charge of checking personnel booking in via vehicles? ensuring tt they have the correct pass before entering camp and all. it kinda sucks lah. cuz ur responsiblity's quite heavy eventho it may sound easy lah. my first day doing gate ic was sometime last week. accidentally let in someone with the seletar camp pass which is a big nono. my god. the stupid balding man just sped by lor? i even attempted to run after the car can? which is kinda dumb come to think of it. haha. oh well. i was seriously hoping my csm wudnt find out or smth. and thankfully he didnt. whew. if not kena 3 extras lor. confirmed have to kiss goodbye to one weekend. burnt. anyway! enuff of my job. i caught godsend like the sunday before last with tizi. wow wow. its a really nice flick! pls pls catch it. i thot it was more of ethics crap which is so gonna bore me. but boy i was so wrong. nice lei. and yeah. got myself a nice book. forbidden love by norma khouri. its this story lah. duh. of a jordanian muslim girl whu fell for a catholic army guy in the very narrow-minded jordanian society. i'm into these sorta stuffs man. and yeah. what's with me and movies and books? haha. nv liked watching movies. always felt lazy to read also? yeah. i had 2 long weekends consecutively. so shiok ah. hopefully this sat will be a long weekend too. dont think so tho. but just hoping lah? went out with my classmates last saturday for dinner! been slightly less than 2 mths since we last met up? and this time everyone went except for sharon whu had to leave early without a hint of guilt. anyway. wanted to catch mean girls then go for dinner at swensens lah? so we met up at 4pm at orchard hoping to catch the 5.15pm time slot but tix were sold out. so we queued up for the 7.15pm time slot lah. 5 mins into queueing the tix for the 7.15pm sold out too? sadness. didnt get to watch lor. went for a long nice dinner. after which we went to clarke quay to crap and reminisce. haha. nice. had fun imitating ms tie and all. hahaha. sadly diana's leaving for melbourne next month to study overseas! sigh. went to catch mean girls with dan on sunday since i didnt get to catch it on saturday. kinda impromptu lah actually. means girl is nice man! i think it kinda clicks with me? no, not cuz i'm a himbo or whatever. our age group i meant. haha. nice nice comedy. dumb blondes. lol. shopped around a lil before we went for the movie. bot underwear lah? wah lao. gave me some see-thru bag sia! so paiseh can. thank god i had another paper bag so i could like carry the opaque one on the outside? my god. didnt shop much. looking forward to shop with my fellow metros [haha] this weekend. wanna get a nice fcuk tee. clinique happy for me. this super nice ripcurl berms. and whatever things nice! and yeah. no pay increment lor. next mth my colleague said. $150 lei! wahhh. can do alot whoa. met up with my bandmates for dinner yesterday! nice nice. haha. love them man. angel, ling, edna, clive, jem and me. fish&co@jp. rushed home. took cab to jp only to realise i wasnt the latest and we werent starting dinner so soon. damn. wasted $8.50. so extravagant when there's no pay increment or whatever so. was wearing a black polo over a white tee and khaki berms. wanted to wear my black slippers but cudnt find it! so irritated. had to settle for my brown ones. a lil bit out lor. chee beh. must be bro's friends or whoever lor. anyway it was nice meeting up with them. haha. and jem's leaving for canada in sept to study also. sob. everyone's leaving! sad sad sad. oh well. work's been fun tho. the jokes and all. and i tell u ah. our RPs restroom is becoming more and more like a squatter settlement! my god. more so with the addition of 3 new RPs. its like we're not allowed to sleep on the bed during the day? so everyone will be fighting for floor space to sleep on? zamri was reading the papers the other day. when i came he straightaway laid down to sleep! meanie. haha. and yeah. i was covering desk for a lil while the other day. this chinese captain or what wanted to change back for his 11b lah. i thot his pass number was number 6 [when it was actually 66] or what. so i went to slot 6 to find his 11b lah. blindly i gave it back to him only to realise it was the working license of some bangladeshi worker?! hahaha. i'm so sorry sir. lol...
