hmm. why am i home u ask? grr. range by right was today right? so i reported to camp in my slumber state at 6.30am. waited outside the armskote with the other 3 nsf's. waited till 7.30am and my encik still hadnt arrived? i was like "oh no. this is bad. prolly its cancelled" so we decided to wait a lil longer. called the guardroom and spoke to my sgt about the situation. and he told me to call him back in 10 mins time. and i did. guess what? range is actually tmr?! wtf?! like hello... today's my leave? bloody hell. so i thot of staying to do normal duty since i was in camp already. but first had to check whether my leave for today had already been cancelled. but chief clerk and everyone else at cco was on off. so in the end i went home. wtf. i felt damn bloody cheated can? hai.

while waiting at the armskote i was reminiscing about my bmt days. cuz the armskote was adjacent to the oct's bunk? and they were cleaning their bunks and all. all the shouts by the overly enthu ones. yeah man. i'm so missing bmt. dusnt help tt i met 3 of my platoonmates last week on separate occasions. first saw tingyi last sunday with a girl. i wanted to say hi to him lah. but when i was approaching him he turned. so okay... fine. then on monday i saw peckteng at lot1. spoke to him a while and all. then few days later in the morning while on the way to camp i saw this familiar guy. i was going down the escalator and he was going up lah. so i looked at him and he looked at me. took quite awhile for us to recognise one another? lol. those were the days of botak recruits mah. haha. so yeah. didnt get to talk. duh. so we just talked via sms. and yeah! my platoon commander! warrant pete! he's in my camp doing something. apparently no longer a pc at scorpion coy. not quite sure of his appointment tho. felt nice cuz he remembers me. hah...

oh anyway! deviated too much there. so i got home at half past 9 in the morning. used the pc for a while. slept from 11 till about 2pm. used the pc again. and my dad told me my air steward's gonna treat us to dinner. so yeah. was kinda looking forward to it. was hoping i could do some steward talk. but apparently not. and this cousin of mine just bought a new car lah can! SFQ plate lor. ford focus. 73k? wtf. cousin idol liao... yeah. as i was saying, went to ecp for dinner. lagoon food centre. nice nice. liked it. [let's go there sometime? s8? my band pple? scorpion plt4?] thot of asking mel along one day. but apparently she's a regular there. so fine. haha.

my mom has passed me her dilemma. we're prolly gonna go LA next june. and she checked the airfares for northwest airlines and its like freaking cheap?! like other airlines airfares to LAX cost like sgd1500? but on northwest its only like sgd970?! whoa. freaking cheap. relatively. SIN-LAX-NRT and LAX-NRT-SIN on the way back. and we're gonna transit at tokyo narita! eventho for a few hours. so now the dilemma is whether to book the tix now or later. an extra fee will be incurred if changes are made after the booking has been made. and i wudnt knoe. later last minute ask me go some course [touch wood!] or smth. so i really dunno. sigh. but its too cheap a deal to miss. dilemma dilemma dilemma.

okay lah. third update in a week liao. not bad i'd say. okay. gonna have a quick shower and pack my barang2 for range tmr. again, wish me luck!

hello hello. 2nd update in a week? heh. went out to town today with my mom. and the crowds were out in full force! for a sunday, town was sure packed. post xmas sale everywhere! saw this really nice mambo boardshorts. was super hinting my mom lah. the smallest they had was 30? and i'm a 28-29-ish. tried it on anyway. in case its too loose i have a good reason not to buy it right? but no. it fits nicely. and its brown! argh. i have a soft spot for brown stuffs. love that colour man. i'll probably get it next payday. hoping for a payraise! heh. and its half the price of my crumpler? so its quite okay. tsktsk. -basks in self-consolation-

went to ax at paragon. my mom was browsing thru some clothes lah. and from the corner of her eyes she could see someone in front of her going wherever she went? like whenever she moved to the left tt person will go left too? so obviously the natural thing to do would be to move right righto? so she did. and she moved left again. and when she looked up at that person, she realised it was her reflection in the mirror? haha. ah duh...

supposed to be on leave tmr. but my encik brought forward my range from wednesday to tmr! ah fuck. range = morning till night = stay in = fucked up. hate staying in. argh. and it dusnt help tt i'm a bobo [read: lousy shooter] but in any case, if i'm a bobo, my encik's a super bobo. haha. cuz he's cross-eyed u see? lol. we'll see tmr. range for 3 days. i'm hoping they'll cut it down to 2 days. oh pls pls. and range is freaking boring. its like u shoot and shoot then u rest for 3-4 hours tt kinda thing? wtf. so pls. pls sms/call me yah?! and yeah. pray that i dont fail. dont wanna take atp like thrice. wish me luck pple!

i'm backkkkkkkk. heh. so so sorry for the late update. been lazy lah... anyway! adit was in town 2 weeks back! cuz my eldest cousin had her engagement. so they came down. couldnt be more happier. its adit the cutie! gosh. he's sporting a lil mohawk now? haha. and yes. its gelled. and he wouldnt leave the house without having it gelled. tsktsk. aspiring metro i see in him. haha. the sad thing was i couldnt send him off when he left cuz i was on duty. sad. and when i met him the day before his departure, it wasnt even a proper goodbye? sigh. oh well... anyhow, happy 5th bday adit! =)

finally caught shutter with aloy on saturday. i expected a super -horror-almost-gonna-pee-in-ur-pants kinda movie? okay lah. it wasnt that scary. prolly i'd rate it 7.5/10. the beginning kinda didnt make sense tho. oh nvm. bought myself a crumpler sling bag. sigh. gave in to temptation. thought it was kinda big but somehow it fits nicely on me now. and its brown! gosh. love it. i'm gonna start scrimping and saving till the next payday [which seems kinda near]. mom's been complaining that i havent been saving enuff again and again and again. sigh...

met up with my jc classmates yesterday! it was all good fun. supposedly everyone could make it. but rozi somehow couldnt make it. right. somehow. and diana whu already came back from melbourne left for south africa like few days after she returned? right. so while we were exchanging xmas gifts and all, she was prolly in the african plains? haha. had lunch at marche and off to coffeebean. just caught up with one another, took pics and exchanged our xmas gifts. and coincidentally, the seats we chose was near a xmas tree all decorated? haha. waiting for diana to come back then we can finally have a reunion...

was doing the last 2 hours of duty just now and this tonner came into camp. guess whu i saw at the passenger seat? jiahao from jj? waved to him and all. haha. its funny what graduation can do to u. in sch we were like strangers and all. but once we've graduated, we start acknowledging and even talking to one another? nice... tho sometimes i'd just pretend not to see the person lest the silent moments during the conversation. lol.

am on half-day this friday. and i took leave next monday! super long weekend man. thinking of going KL with my mom and bro. so we'll see how yeah. tizi, we'll prolly meet up there or smth for a few hours? haha. yet to confirm anything tho. alright... be good everyone. xmas is here! =)

and yep. finally the first singapore idol has been crowned. and its mr taufik batisah! not tt i hate sly or what but taufik's like THE singapore idol man. i've got friends who bitch to me about sly being the first singapore idol like its so duh? like singapore's mainly made up of chinese and sly being chinese will of course appeal to the common singaporean? duh. [what taufik said in the papers made sense. he said smth like "i'm sure not only the malays are voting for me. i wudnt have gotten to the finals had it not been for pple of other races cuz the malays are a minority."] and they'll go on to say tt sly has a bright prospect if he sings in taiwan and hk and stuff while mr batisah will just have to be appeased with singing to audiences from indonesia and malaysia? right. let's see. siti nurhaliza has made it big in malaysia, indonesia, japan and now she's even venturing into the chinese market?! whoa. sheila majid made it big in japan too yeah? anita sarawak made it big in the region, but she was even bigger in the states. what say you now? heh. which reminds me of a line from "i dream". think it goes smth like "regardless of the colour of my skin"? =)

my dear gf had tix at the last minute. damn. and my cousin had front row seats?! wtf. he was happily waving to the camera when douglas o was giving his comments cuz my cousin was sitting behind douglas o? right. and he happily didnt tell me. oh well... not like i'd enjoy watching it live with all the screams and stuff. bah. [oh! i kept my clothes bought for hari raya separately lah. so i took it out the other day. was reminded of the fact that this sisley tee i bought had the word 'sly' printed on the front?! omg. but i swear i'm still a taufik fan!]

caught the incredibles last saturday with dear ol' zac. man its a good movie! go catch it man. super cute characters. haha. next on my to-catch-list is shutter. heard its super scary?! and next on my to-get-list is this really really nice fossil watch i saw at tangs? man it costs 300 bucks! was super hinting my mom. and she asked for the model number so she can check it out at amsterdam's schiphol airport. awaiting good news mom! yeah man... and what made my day totally was an sms from a super long lost friend? niceee...

met up with some old friends on tuesday for dinner nearby. since its nearby i didnt wanna style my hair so i put my cap to good use. and my friend said i looked super beng with my fcuk cap and my quiksilver tee? apparently they look like they have dragon prints? right.

okay! adit's in town! yeah man. will go pay him a visit tmr after work! and my mom's coming back this saturday. cant wait to see what she's gotten me. and thank god its friday! yeahhhhh...
